The evening
The evening will start with a glittering champagne reception where guests mingle freely, sampling the delights of the chocolate fountain and homemade canapés to the strains of smooth, atmospheric jazz music.
Guests will then make their way to the ballroom where a sumptuous four course dinner will be served, the menu featuring as much locally sourced fresh ingredients as possible.
After dinner, our
compere for the evening LMFM’s Gerry Kelly will introduce our
special guests. They will will
outline the
progress being made by the Drogheda ABACAS School, much of it made
possible by the funds raised by the annual Valentines Ball. A parent of
one of the children attending the school will also speak, describing
the impact that autism has on their family life and the vital support
that the school provides.With the meal complete, Gerry Kelly will introduce the now famous Valentines Ball raffle, in which many fantastic prizes will be won.
The
raffle will be followed by the chance to win one of the many spot prizes donated
by local business. This is a fun event with a twist that promises to be
an unforgettable feature of the evening!Entertainment will follow provided by ever popular local band The Enemies, whose talent for filling the floor is second to none! Music and dancing will continue to the small hours with DJ Sean Foran.
